University delegation share experience on Community of Practice at international conference

大學代表團於國際會議上分享成立專業社群的經驗

A delegation of 13 HKBU staff members attended the prestigious Lilly Spring International Conference held from 28 to 31 May in Bethesda, USA, and presented to the international audience their valuable experience and insight on Community of Practice (CoP) as well as teaching and learning.

Co-sponsored by HKBU, the theme of this year's Conference was Evidence-Based Teaching and Learning. The 13 HKBU delegates were from different faculties, including Arts, Science, and Social Sciences, as well as the School of Chinese Medicine, College of International Education, and the Centre for Holistic Teaching and Learning. They represented five CoPs established in HKBU and gave nine presentations at the Conference.

For 35 years, the Lilly Spring International Conference has been organised to provide opportunities for participants to exchange ideas and enhance their skills. This year, 425 attendees from 162 different institutions from 11 countries participated in the Conference.

浸大一個13人代表團於5月28至31日參加在美國貝塞斯達舉行的Lilly Spring International Conference,分享了浸大在推動專業社群和優質教與學的寶貴經驗。

是次會議由浸大聯合贊助,主題為「循證為本教與學」。浸大的13位代表來自文學院、理學院、社會科學院、中醫藥學院、國際學院和全人教育教與學中心,他們代表五個校內的專業社群,共發表了九篇報告。

Lilly Spring International Conference已舉辦了35年,今年會議共有11個國家共162所院校的425位學者參加。
