The Department of Education Studies recently organised a public seminar entitled “Cross-Borders, Confronting Boundaries”. Supported by the Equal Opportunities Commission, the event invited four experts on Mainland migration to present their research. The four speakers were Dr Chee Wai-chi (Assistant Professor, Department of Education Studies), Dr Shirley Hung  (Associate Head, Department of Social Work), Dr Peng Yinni (Associate Professor, Department of Sociology) and Dr Anita Chan (Associate Professor, Department of Social Sciences, The Education University of Hong Kong).
