Wu Culture at HKBU

The Office of Student Affairs organised recently an event to introduce the Wu Culture of the Mainland to HKBU students. Students had the opportunity to exchange views with 10 renowned artists from the Wuzhong District in Suzhou.

As a vital part of the Chinese traditional civilisation, the Wu Culture has a long history which can be traced back to 10,000 years ago. Its features include a number of world-class or national-class intangible cultural heritage items, and has won the titles of “Hometown of Chinese Literature” and “Hometown of Chinese Folk Art”.
