浸大電影學院種子計劃 「第六屆數碼短片創作比賽」頒獎禮 表揚創意

The “INNO-Action! HKBU Academy of Film Seeds Project” held a ceremony today (11 July) for the winning entries in its 6th Digital Short Video Competition, presenting a total of 18 awards for outstanding short dramas and documentaries produced by local secondary school students. 
 
This year’s Best Drama Award goes to Miss Tiffany Ng from the Chinese International School for her entry 媽媽.  Tiffany also won the Best Director and Best Editing awards. Mr Liu Xiaohu from the Pui Kiu Middle School won awards for Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Actor and the Jury’s Award (Drama) for his Who Stole My Dream. Mr Li Sihao from St Francis Xavier’s College won the Special Mention -- Best “Cult” Drama Award for his Chicken vs Predator. Please click here for the list of winners.
 
Today’s presentation ceremony was officiated by Executive Director of Youth.gov.hk of HKSAR Government’s Efficiency Unit Mr Ng Chi-keung; Associate Director of HKBU Academy of Film Mr Man Shu-sum; director and scriptwriter Mr Au Man-kit; director, scriptwriter and actress Ms Mo Lai. They served as the judges for the competition. 
 
Guests presenting the awards at the ceremony included the four officiating guests, as well as veterans from the film and TV sectors, namely Mr Dean Siu, Mr Tong Kay-ming, Mr Pao Wai-chung, Ms Annike Pong, Mr Pong Hun-yiu, Mr Henry Chung, Mr Mak Chun-hung and Mr Ko Kong-ling, founder of the online channel “Pomato”.
 
The 6th Seeds Project attracted more than 1,000 students from over 110 secondary schools to take part in its various activities. The Digital Short Video Competition, one of the highlights of the Project, received 101 submissions, comprising 80 dramas and 21 documentaries. An adjudication panel formed by three directors, Mr Au Man-kit, Ms Mo Lai and Ms Heiward Mak, decided on the winners of 16 awards, while winners of the remaining two awards, Most Popular Online Drama and Most Popular Online Documentary, were selected by the public through online voting.
 
A Meeting with Judges session was held immediately after the awards ceremony. Directors cum judges Mr Au Man-kit and Ms Mo Lai shared their thoughts on the overall standard of the entries. 
 
The Seeds Project, with the aim of stimulating secondary school students’ creativity, was initiated and developed by the Academy of Film of the HKBU School of Communication and has been sponsored by Create Hong Kong of the Hong Kong Government since the Project started in 2011.

漢基國際學校吳天慧執導的《媽媽》勇奪「最佳劇情片」、「最佳導演」及「最佳剪接」三項殊榮。培僑中學劉曉虎憑其自編自導自演的《誰偷了我的夢想》囊括了劇情片組「評委大獎」、「最佳導演」、「最佳劇本」及「最佳演員」四項殊榮。
 
大會今屆新設六個「特別表揚」獎項,以嘉許具有特色及獨特之處的參賽作品,其中聖芳濟書院的學生李思豪憑《肥雞大戰鐵血戰士》贏得「特別表揚–最Cult大獎」。請按此瀏覽得獎名單。 
 
頒獎禮由香港特別行政區政府效率促進組政府青少年網站執行總監吳治強先生、浸大傳理學院電影學院副總監文樹森先生和種子計劃評審歐文傑先生、賴恩慈小姐聯合主禮。其他出席嘉賓包括多媒體創作人邵子風先生、監製唐基明先生、編劇鮑偉聰先生、演員龐秋雁女士、剪接師潘雄耀先生、攝影師鍾有添先生、影視原創音樂人麥振鴻先生,以及網絡頻道「小薯茄」主創人之一高江凌先生。
 
種子計劃踏入第六屆,今屆舉辦各項活動合共吸引了約110間中學參加,參與人次超過1,000人。「數碼短片創作比賽」是種子計劃的主要活動之一,今年共收到101份合資格作品,包括80套劇情片及21套紀錄片。由三位青年導演歐文傑先生、賴恩慈小姐及麥曦茵小姐組成的評審委員會,從參賽作品中選出16個獎項的得獎者。網上最受歡迎劇情片及網上最受歡迎紀錄片兩個獎項,則由公眾經網上投票選出得獎作品。
 
緊接頒獎禮後舉行的「評審指導會」,邀請評審歐文傑先生和賴恩慈小姐與在座同學分析今屆作品的表現,並分享他們的創作經驗。 
 
種子計劃由浸大電影學院自2011年起主辦,旨在啟發中學生創意才能,並連續六年獲得香港特別行政區政府「創意香港」贊助。
