Film scholar chosen to exhibit artwork in Beijing Design Week

電影學院學者海報作品獲選參與北京國際設計周

Mr Wade Chan, Lecturer of the Academy of Film of the School of Communication, was recently selected to participate in the Beijing Design Week “2015 City‧International Public Service Poster Exhibition” organised by the National Ministries and the Municipal Government of Beijing. His creative poster artwork entitled “Divergence HK” was exhibited at the Art Gallery of Capital Normal University. 
 
A panel of judges selected 400 works of art for display at the exhibition from a total of 1,653 submissions by 629 designers from 25 countries this year. Participating designers had to design their work based on a variety of topics related to social welfare, such as smart city and sustainable development, ecological civilisation, traditional culture, energy conservation and pollution reduction, equitable education, network civilisation, road safety and so forth. 
 
Beijing Design Week is an annual citywide event that attracts over 2,000 designers, institution representatives and industry experts, over 5 million visitors, and more than 100 accredited news media outlets. It has become the largest and most influential platform in Asia for display, promotion, exchange and trading of creative designs.

傳理學院電影學院講師陳浪濤先生最近獲選參與由國家文化部與北京市人民政府合辦的北京國際設計周「2015城市‧國際公益海報佳作展」,於首都師範大學美術館展出他的創意海報作品名為「Divergence HK」。
 
是次展覽收到來自25個國家和地區的629名設計師提交合共1,653幅作品。經過籌委會評審,最後選出400幅公益海報作品作展覽。參展的設計師分別就智慧城市與可持續發展、生態文明、傳統文化、節能減排、教育公平、網絡文明、交通安全等多種公益主題進行創作。
 
「北京國際設計周」每年均會吸引逾2000名設計師、機構代表和學術專家,以及百多間註冊媒體和超過500萬觀眾人次參加,成為亞洲規模最大、最具影響力的創意設計展示、推介、交流、交易的平台。
