Professor Gerard Prendergast receives Outstanding Associate Editor Award from International Journal of Advertising

彭嘉諾教授獲《國際廣告學期刊》頒發「傑出副編輯獎」

Professor Gerard Prendergast, Associate Dean of the School of Business, was recognised with the Outstanding Associate Editor Award by the International Journal of Advertising, which is published by the world’s leading academic publishers Routledge/Taylor and Francis. The award was presented by Professor Charles R Taylor, Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Advertising, and Past President of the American Academy of Advertising, at the International Conference on Research in Advertising hosted by the European Academy of Advertising. 
 
According to Professor Taylor, this award “recognises Professor Prendergast’s truly outstanding service to the journal for which he has served for the past six years in the capacity of Associate Editor. He has held papers to a high standard of excellence and has worked extremely effectively with the Editorial Review Board and ad hoc reviewers. His work has been a major factor in the journal’s success.”

工商管理學院副院長彭嘉諾教授早前獲得國際著名學術書刊出版商Routledge/Taylor and Francis旗下的《國際廣告學期刊》頒發「傑出副編輯獎」。獎項由《國際廣告學期刊》總編輯兼美國廣告學會前主席Charles R Taylor教授於歐洲廣告學會舉辦的國際廣告研究會議上頒發。
 
Taylor教授表示,該獎項表揚彭嘉諾教授於過去六年擔任《國際廣告學期刊》副編輯時所作出的卓越貢獻,他與編輯評審會和評審員的高效合作,讓期刊穩佔於高學術水平位置,而彭教授的努力亦是期刊成功的主要因素之一。
